| New Friend | Hey Gary/Mike, Congrats on your new horns and can't wait til I can get one of those. I still can't believe you had your eclipse trumpets here in Iraq. Are you guys really that crazy? I guess you are. Mike, I really can't believe you didn't get the scratched savanah on the flugel. Any reason worth telling why not? Hadrian 42nd ID Band |

![]() | How's the intonation on it? I'm torn between getting a Bb and a flugel. I play more flugel than trumpet nowdays. My old Olds has a great sound, but really bad intonation.

![]() | Lets just say that at the ITG a "trumpet icon" endorsed by a competing "major trumpet company" practically wet himself over the eclipse flugel, stating it was the best in the world, the best he had ever played, the most in-tune flugel he had ever encountered. I agree.

| Mezzo Piano User | Well guys, I really wanted the Savannah to match my other Eclipse but let Leigh decide the finish since he has heard them played with different finishes and knows my tastes. I went with the red brass on a suggestion from Leigh as well. He is probably the only person I trust who is not a trumpet player when it comes to trumpets. Thanks again Leigh. P.S. Yes Hadrian, we are that crazy!
