![]() ![]() | Re: national championship game I usually have a strong opinion on who's tops in College football. But this year, with all the craziness that ensued, I couldn't care less. IMO, neither team clearly demonstrated that they were the top 2 teams in the country. So for me, this makes the game meaningless.

![]() | Re: national championship game There is no national championship, there is a BCS Championship. That game will be won by the Tigers from the Louisiana State University, but the game will be much closer than many would predict. I see this game with a 5-point spread and LSU scoring 26-28 points. If the game is a blow out, it will be LSU winning big. Many of the outstanding athletes on this team have been hurt much of the second half of the season. The game could turn into a replay of the LSU vs VA Tech game from early in the season. Watch for the LSU defense to make a showing in this game as Bo Pelini will be oving on to Nebraska next season. Pelini is a brilliant defensive coach who's team played well this season despite having 4-6 starters out per game in weeks 6 on. The biggest draw back on Ohio State is the inability of the OSU to prepare for the big test. This was supposed to be a rebuiling year for OSU, but they have one of the best coaches in the business. He taught his players in 1-2 seasons what most teach in four. His players got much better, but will they be able to prepare effectively for the big game over a month long layoff -- I have my doubts. I see this game being sloppy for the first 8-10 minutes, and if OSU can hold LSU from some big break away plays in that start-up period, this game might be a classic!

By the way, in that game I took Georgia! I love the Rainbow Warriors but I don't think they are ready to play SEC competition just yet, especially in SEC Country. If the game was in Hawaii I would take the Rainbows, but not in New Orleans.
