Sorry, I'm not that into octopus (pulpo). HOWEVER, my mom used to make a rice dish that used ink from either the octopus or the squid, I don't recall. Do squid even have that same capability? Maybe it was octopus. I don't remember what the taste was like but I ate it either out of fascination or I really liked it because I was pretty finnicky as a kid.
