![]() | Count me in. I'm in between cool cars now. Guess that's like being in between gigs. Anyway my last one was a 1967 Mustang, 289 with some light performance mods including a Holly 4bbl, Edelbrock "Performer" manifold, electronic ignition and dual exhaust. Not a race car but fun to drive. I get some solace knowing that the Corvette crowd pulls the 6.0 liter engine blocks out trucks like my 2500HD Silverado to beef up for racing. I hear they hold up better than the aluminum blocks. I'm torn what to get next. Choices include a "Rockford" gold 74-9 firebird, 1955 Lincoln Futura repro (Batmobile), amphibious jeep (DUKW's are too big for personal use) or 69-70 Mustang fastback.

![]() | We aren't so bad. My 6.0 2500HD Silverado is a lot quicker and faster than my old Mustang was. Doesn't take the corners as well though. I'll have to get the Firebird for those "Rockford" j turns. Saw one with potential today........wife says no until we sell something.

| Piano User | YES!! Truckers prevail once again! Although mine is a rod in itself, not really a heavy duty truck, it's got a 383 Stroker under the hood, everything roller, it's a work of art really, bring a tear to my eye just thinkin about it
