Re: Question for Rowuk

Lads, Lads, Life is too too short.
If you're not getting at least one belly laugh a day, then you will die. Hmmm - maybe the dying bit isn't optional, so let's play trumpet and smile a lot. If possible come and visit the "Land Down-under" - a BIG brown land with lots of sunshine and beer (and trumpeting too).

Comment for Rowuk:
I can definitely say that I have greatly enjoyed your insights in our brief conversations. Thank you for your contributions to TM.

The 2010 International Trumpet Guild Conference is in Sydney. I expect you to host some drinking.

Heck yeah I have a NRA membership. I would never join PETA... I just like calling the wolves on others! HAHA. But I do like animals... FOR DINNER!! HAHA. It's a joke folks. Relax.

One of my trumpet teachers DAUGHTER shot a 12-point buck. He gave me some venison and I made a stew. The idea was to eat the stew while watching Bambi. We never got around to the movie though.

Re: Question for Rowuk

HAHA, hilarious. I love venison jerky... especially peppered with some spices... mmmhmmm... For the record, I'm just a target shooter, lol. Although I do have a great story about drawing down on a group of punks (3) that "tried" to mug me once. HAHA. Ok, I just got home from a dress rehearsal and am tired. I'll talk to y'all Saturday after all teh festivities are over. I sure do miss my Bb. Playing everything on C. And it's mostly Mozart... play two notes and rest for a hundred measures. I am definitely gaining respect for the orch players who can rest twenty minutes and come in softly on a cold horn perfectly in tune. Not my calling. Put me playing lead in a big band and I'm happy. But, the more hats you can wear, the more jobs right? I'm not totally off topic here, Rowuk told me that once! HA!

Bear--that's why Miles left Juilliard, same exact reason. You're in good company!
