I think it would be more of a punishment for Saddam to live out his life in solitary confinement, as opposed to an "easy exit".

Not even solitary confinement. Ya know how many prisoners would like to get their hands on him? Put him in a cell with "Big Bubba" for a week, then decide what to do with him.

They already said on the news: He will be tried by a War Crimes Tribunal consisting of Iraqis. No American interfearance (yeah, right), and there can be no death penalty under Iraqi law.

Maybe his own people will do him in, or he will kill himself.

Either way, he and his followers are finished.

God Bless America

tom turner has a spectacular aura about
Upon his surrender, Saddam was armed.

In the end Saddam surrendered meekly, as a weak coward rather than going out as a "hero" in a hail of bullets.

It seems that a man who had no problem in sending millions to their graves . . . and had no problem in asking Iraqi soldiers to their death in a "Holy War," was too much of a two-faced coward to ask the same sacrifice of himself.

Jarret
Britain was the only nation to support Mr Bush and were there in Iraq too. Europe talks a good story but when it comes to the crunch...
