Well, last year for the Carnegie Performance our line up was this:
1. Festive Overture Op. 96 by Shostakovich
2. Nimrod from "Enigma Variations" by Elgar
3. Hungarian Dance No. 5 by Brahms
4. Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67 Finale (Allegro) by Beethoven

...probably going to be playing Pines of Rome this year, we talked about it last year, and all the students voted for us to play it, but it's still up to the directors. They've also told us that depending on how we sound and how much we improve we might try tackling Stravinsky's Rite of Spring for our last concert, personaly, I think we can do it.
Wow! That's some demanding literature! Better start now working up your multiple tonguing for Pines! That first page is lightning fast.

Thanks for the overview.

trumpet blower88~

My freshman year we played the Shostakovitch "Festive Overture"...

You, my friend, are in for a treat! That is quite possibly the most fun and prettiest piece of music I"ve ever played! I'm jealous! I want to play it again!

Have fun with that!
