| Piano User | Re: The story behind your avatar Me playing a gig at the now defunct club, "Tonic." It was in an old Kosher Wonery that was converted to a great club that featured a wide mix of experimental music, world music, and jazz. It closed recently because of the trend in NYC for artists to revive run down neighborhoods and then be forced out because they improve the real estate values. When unbridled capitalism meets art, art always loses. Of course, I did not know all this was going to happen when I chose my avatar. It was just a nice picture.
