| Fortissimo User | The group is called "Bones Apart". I haven't run any searches for them (yet). The clip comes from a TBA website (just erase everything to the right of ".com" and hit "enter" but all of the other clips are more "traditional".... superb playing but just not ensemble. The best trombonest I have heard is Alain Trudell out of Quebec, Canada. Listened to him on the radio one evening and my daughter (french horn major) and I couldn't tell if we were listening to someone playing a french horn or some maybe a bass trumpet.... the trills were just "that" sharp and clear. Later found out he was a trombonist. Edit: OK, found it. Here's the link to the group's website http://www.bonesapart.co.uk/ |

| Forte User | I'm going to check that link out tomorrow, when I have access to the school computer. Going a bit off-subject (Or on?), I found a nice looking trigger trombone, a Conn Symphony Artist model. Its being sold for $250, I think, and I was wondering if the guy is asking for a good price (He WAY overprices crap). Van
