Dan Rosenboom will play the world premiere performance of Anne LeBaron's WAY OF LIGHT (trumpet, electronics, film). This is an ITG commission and I think it's amazing

June 9th @ 5:00
Aaron Smith will play a recital of music by Pilss, Ravel, Henze, Yan Maresz, and Bede Williams (the latter 2 for trumpet & electronics)

These are two fabulous trumpeters and musicians. Please check them out and review their concerts on my forum?

I'll definitely go hear them and post something. 20th cent. lit has always had a soft spot in my heart.

Bad news.

LAst night at the Landmark they were carding under 21 folks and not letting them into the jam session. We should try to be prepared with a contingency plan. It wouldn't be god to have a hang and not let Lara and the other younger TMers in on the fun.

I know that the conference hosts were to speak with the management today and try to fix this situation, which had supposedly been ironed out in advance of the conference. We'll see...

Let's hope the ITG can work it out. It's too late to change the location at this time.
