Now the Raider Hater part comes from living near Denver and being a Broncos fan. In the early years of the AFL, the Raiders actually kicked an onside kick against the Broncos when they were up by more than 35 points and there was less than 2 minutes in the game. Ugh. The Raiders lead the league every year (almost) in penalties. Their fans are mutants from Oakland. They have been known to throw batteries at opposing players. No one playing in Oakland runs through the tunnel without their helmet on. Their owner moves the team to get a better deal ... Oakland made him sign a lease that would not let the Raiders move -- and after only two years back in Oakland, he tried to get a judge to declare the contract void so he could get an even better deal back in LA. Why anyone is loyal to the Raiders I'll never know. Jim

And once upon a time they had the "Blake Street Bombers". And they are a likable team. The Raiders ... no redeeming values. Jim
