I have a chocolate lab "Baby" who is almost 2 years old. Then a siamese cat "Leinie" who is about the same age. A orange and white tabby cat named "Chupa" (as in Chupacabre... cat will attack anything). And finally a grey and white tabby cat name Annie... (found strayed, or orphaned if you will.)

This is the late Kiki checking out the horn.

This is Keena (belly up) and Elmo ( a rescued dog). He spent some time in the joint.

Alex Yates has a little shameless behaviour in the past

A long time ago I posted a picture of my big, fuzzy bearcat Oskar and neglected to post a pic of my other two kitties. They are brother and sister (as if you couldn't tell ). They are Russian Blues (who came out black in the gene pool) and are textbook cases of this breed. They are very intelligent, sweet, clean, loving, shy, acrobatic and will play fetch forever if you let them. L to R - Sabena and Salem. The three of them are referred to as the "Keystone Kitties" 'round here. They are my biggest fans. I just don't see how they can sleep around me while I practice, but they do. It is the sweetest thing.

I also have a Russian Blue named 'That blue Thing' He is definately my buddy and is really bonded to me. I had him to our vetrinarian yesterday and found that he weighs 19 lbs. and is not fat. He is just a huge cat that does not fit crosswise in a Lazy Boy Recliner. A good sized kitty,eh? He, also sleeps right through my practice, or, perhaps he fakes it. Who can tell. He is a cat, therefore, whatever one of them does is beyond any human understanding. Do your Russian blues also act like they are allowing you to visit 'THEIR' house?

They do, but not in a territorial way. They are incredibly social. They love to greet whomever might be coming to the door and love to hang-out with everyone. They actually have some behavioral characteristics in common with dogs. I had three, long-haired girls for 16 years before these three, (who are only 1.5 years old and two are males) and they did nothing but sleep, cuddle, purr and look pretty. These guys are very communicative and love to interact. In that respect they act as though I am visiting their place. When they want something, they are very clever at getting it. They act in concert when it comes to most of their mischief.

AKC name: Gustav Mahler, der Hund von der Erde <----- that is just great. It cracks me up.

Family name: Goose <---- isn't it funny how we name our pets only to give them pet names? I have the same thing going on with my cats.

EC (not much smarter) <------ oh, c'mon now Ed.....we all know that is far from the truth.

I've actually been thinking about getting a dog, but I'm in the "am a responsible enough person to own and care for a dog?" stage. I'm leaning towards yes, but I'm going to give it some time. I think I'm leaning towards either a Beagle or a miniature Schnauzer. Any thoughts?
