The G35 coupe is a slick looking car. Far superior looking to the 4 dr in my opinion What is the FX35. Is that a Nissan Murano (sp?) on Steroids Must be a nice car.

LOL - its a common misperception, the FX is actually built on the same Nissan rear-wheel-drive platform as the 350Z and the G35 (even the same V6 engine in my FX35, with the same engine note as the Z). It drives very much like a RWD/AWD sport sedan. The Murano is built on the same Nissan front-wheel-drive platform as the Altima (I believe). So though they are both in the "crossover" category, they are actually totally different cars.

So you could think of the FX as a 350Z on steroids - or perhaps a 350Z "wagon"

And yes you should definitely test-drive a Type S - they are up to 205 horses now I believe...

Bandman,

It's so funny to have you on this forum.... boy, I can never stretch the truth about high school days with you around...

If I remember correctly there were several of us with British sports cars back then... your TR, my Midget and one other band person had a TR4 ??

Glad to hear you are doing better. You are blessed my friend.

Take care of yourself!

Actually Terry G (oboe) had a rather hot TR6, and Don R (Bass Clarinet) had a TR4. Don gave his up in favor of a Mercedes and last time I heard from him he was still driving that same car. He is the only one from my days that I kept up with for years. As you probably remember Mr. Lawrence also drove an MGB.

I ran into a couple of guys while playing a gig in Orlando a few years ago. I don't ever go back for reunions (I'm sure I'm on the dead list). I think if I cross the virginia state line there is still orders to shoot to kill! They probably don't know I've become a Catholic Church going conservative!

Why do trumpet and flute players have big cars and low brass players (and percussionists) drive the sub-compacts?

Just wondering.

BANDMAN,

Wow, now you've really stirred-up the memory cells...
Yes, I remember all those folks and their cars. I do remember Terry and Don. I got an e-mail from Don a few years ago. Do you know if he is still in Colorado?

Sorry folks... just catching up on HS days with bandman...

DCSTEP,
Yes. You are correct... unless it was a stolen TR6...

TOOTSALL,
Maybe we can do a match on here... like...

Oboe = Cadillacs

etc, etc...
