Because virtually everything you've said has been done by this president. I'm not sure what sort of info you're getting but I'm astonished that you think Bush hasn't done those things. There isn't any pesident that has devoted more US aid to impoverished countries than this present one. Some would say too much because the inherent corruption existent in many of these countries. The "I can't hear you thing" is just wrong, Mike. If you're talking about the Kyoto accord, well, i'm sorry but that puts a huge burden un the US, if followed, and completely ignores the environmental sins of countries like China and India. It's simply not at all fair. Crap, i have a rehearsal... I'll catch up with you later! ML

2) Get rid of the NEA but provide greater tax incentives for corporations and private individuals to support the arts. I would start a campaign headed by the first lady encouraging private citizens to attend concerts, theater, and ballet. It would be hard to turn around without seeing an ad encouraging involvement in the arts. Money for that program would come from the US post office advertising budget, one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. 3) Triple the number of border guards all around the US. Double customs officials. Double the number of Coast Guard vessels on patrol. 4) Every military base in Europe except the UK is now gone. Our military come home to protect our borders and deploy where necessary in the Middle East. More Trident submarines will now patrol the Indian Ocean and the Pacific. 5) No more aid to African nations or any nation, for that matter, that show a consistent track record of graft and corruption that keeps the money away from the people that need it. 6) United Nations is dispatched to another country that wants it and the building is turned into housing for low income families. The Main Hall is turned into a concert hall. 7) For every 3 Iraqis that become members of the military, one American comes home. 8) No reporting on election results or projection by mass media allowed until midnight of Election Day. Election Day is a federal holiday. No school, no federal jobs except for those directly connected to voting. 9) You can't apply for welfare benefits without a high school diploma or federally accepted equivalent. 10) You hire illegal immigrants? $5,000 dollar fine for each offense. Can't pay? Thirty days in jail for each offense. 11) Mexico pays one barrel of oil for each illegal alien found to have gotten into the US. 12) I don't care if your baby who is less than a year old was born here because you came in illegally, s/he is not a citizen according to my new law. Neither is your spouse. Man, this is tiring. But, it's a start. ML

| Forte User | Here goes... I might duck, but here goes. 1. Abolish free trade, and instead establish FAIR trade practices. Any country not allowing US products or imposing a tariff will have the same enforced against it. Countries wishing to export to the US must have established safety and wage compensation laws similar to ours. 2. NCLB is no longer in effect. Neither are school vouchers. All of the education advisors are fired, and replaced by working teachers with 15 or more years experience. They will then draft education policy based on their experience. 3. No more faith-based charity. 4. Welfare is now a job-training program. That's a start.

![]() | Geez, 49,996 signatures more and I could run... WHAT A HOOT! Could you imagine Hillary running against a Puerto Rican heritage, performing artist-type Republican? THERE'S a new Robert Rodriquez movie vehicle waiting to happen... except I'm not much into his directing... too bland. Gibson's too serious... Stone is too paranoid... who's a great comedy director? Holy crap... ! Zucker! You know... "Ghost", "Airplane".... Sounds like a worthy writing project for vacation... What do I call it? "Red Beans, White House"? ML |
