![]() | Re: Who are the people that post here? Name: Brad Shermock Age: 37 Degrees held: BM, U of North Texas; MM DePaul University What the heck am I doing: Professional musician around Minneapolis/St. Paul on trumpet and guitar; some private teaching; helping wifey raise 2 boys, 1st and 9th grade; some guitar amp repair; clinics and masterclasses when the opportunities present themselves; woodshedding orchestral excerpts 'cuz I can't play them convincingly (!) When I grow up I will be: Still married to my incredible wife, still Dad to my incredible boys, fishing the Boundary Waters, sailing around Lake Superior, and helping young players find their own unique voice in music (I hope). I'm afraid to start watching 24 after Manny's confession. It would probably be a very fast, slippery slope. Shermock p.s. Shermock shakes at McDonald's right now! |

I ues my real name, I don't think I have any reason not to. Often with forums I go to register and my name is already taken so I create something. I mean I'm not gonna walk into a cafe and pretend to be someone else. | |

What you want to do when you grow up?? well I still have a plenty of time to think about that but as you can see my mind's pretty set on music. As for the whole question of credibility, I come here to learn not to give advice. I don't post much because I don't have nearly as much to offer as most of the other members of this site. I have learned a lot from the TM and hope that I will be able keep learning for a long time. Annie |
