I met a few people on this site at trumpet guild 2006 in New Jersey.
There were bumper stickers all over the place advertising the trumpetmaster.com web site. That is why there are so many new, strange people on this site since June 2006.

A couple of weeks later I attended the saturday meeting of the International Womens Brass Conference and that was a real treat too. I was able to meet and spend some time in the lobby with Carol Dawn-Reinhart. She brought some videos for us to watch while we waited for the evening concerts. She answered all kinds of trumpet playing questions while the rain poured down outside.

I wanted to say I'm really an axe murderer but that MAY scare some people. Instead, I try to play trumpet and that REALLY DOES scare a lot of people.

I have been attending ITG since 1997 but have missed a few.

I'll try to bring Trumpetmike some Maytag Blue Cheese at Amherst.

It took over a year for me to post my photo as my avatar. But I've come to know many of you here as freinds, and it has allowed me to open up more to you all. Some of us just use more caution maybe? There are a few, however, who take advantage of the anonymity of the internet. Why?

I understand everyone wanting to use real names.
I have added my real first name to my signature to allow others to address me in a more personal way however, I'm with those who wish to keep some info confidential. There are too many hackers out there and too much potential risk, not necessarily from those on this site but from outside looking in.
It is a pitty society has become so perilous a place.

I love Jesus, try to play golf, I think spongebob is a riot, I'm 32 years old, a republican to the bone, a combat veteran, I hate scary movies, and I post here every now and then because I can, and I think you all are awesome. Gooooooooo Tribe! Oh yeah. I was born in cleveland, grew up in richmond VA, lived for 2 years in Oklahoma, 1 year in Seoul Korea, 8 years in Germany and one year in Iraq, I am currently serving a sentence of unknown duration in Augusta GA. No I'm not in Jail, I just have to live in GA. :) Seriously its not bad, just really really weird.....
