| Forte User | Good post Nick. I guess what I was trying to say is that now that he's in his 20s, there is no longer a novelty associated with him being a young prodigy - at this point, his drumming must stand on it's own for what it is, rather than judging his playing for his age. He is undoubtedly a talented drummer and I'm sure that he can drive a band as well as anyone. Also, at this point, thanks to his near celebrity status that he achieved early on because of his age, he's probably got plenty of experience, even at the tender age of 21, to go with those chops. The other point that I was trying to make was that while he was a phenom at age 12 and probably better than any of his peers of the same age, there are 21 year old players all over the place who have caught up to him in terms of chops and ability.
