Sorry guys, it must be my fault -- Leigh must have found my secret killer fishing trick really works!

Re: 2007 Eclipse Contest!

I carry large tubes of Preparation H (original flavor) in my tackle boxes, smear it on anything you through in the water, "a little dab'l do ya" and besides, ya never know when it will come in handy for its original intent after long hours sitting on that hard rowboat seat because you just can't stop reeling them in......

Copper bell and leadpipe, everything else silver, assembled from the reject bin by one of your assistants is fine for me, that is where I am from too

Frank,

Posting this is just cruel. This was my favorite beer the entire 12 years I lived in Germany. Now I have to settle for Shiner Hefeweissen. It is as close to the real deal as I have been able to find.......and I have searched EVERYWHERE.

Re: 2007 Eclipse Contest!

Hey Mike,
I'm hip to this brew. Now that I'm here in Italy , I can get this brew at my local supermarket. Sometimes perks are very cool.

If you're going to consume beer, do it right! Drive to Belgium and pick up a case of this!

Re: 2007 Eclipse Contest!

Yeah-- We've got all the belgian brews in the supermarkets here too, but it's a tough choice with all the serious vino as well.....

Oh my! What a terrible position to be in Grav! LOL. You will have to adopt the alternate day or odd/even day system so you can enjoy both!

Re: 2007 Eclipse Contest!

Alex,
That sounds like definite plan-- but it gets complicated if you're also a fan of grappa. Maybe we should invent some sort of cocktail. I'm sure Leigh could lend some serious input.
