Re: Amazing...new horns?

one of those that is "about to roll out" is my Stage One Custom or Signature horn. It will have te rimless copper bell, non-reverse tuning slide and old bach style braces. It is desinged with choice of materials etc... to be very dark sounding, but not so open with blow that you have no resistence. I'll be sure to post pictures when it comes in soon for all to see!
Felix's stuff plays extremely well and I am very happy and proud to be endorsing the line and the company.... hard to find honest quality people nowadays and Felix is most certainly that!
Peace
Matt

Re: Amazing...new horns?

Ha...I love it! I checked his website this morning, and the GS wasn't even there, and now he's got a cornet too...and he's working on more...22 models in all, I think he told me today. I think a few makers are about to have a run for their money...Matt, I can't wait to see yours. A few more models are on the way, Felix told me about at least 3 that aren't even mentioned on the site yet that are coming. This guy is amazing. All I know is that I am going to complete my horn collection(D/Eb..a good one, Flugel, C, etc...all of my next horns will be through him. His work is just amazing-and like was mentioned..nothing is that 'over the top'...it's just classy-but still unique..can still make a horn that is 'you'. I'm definitely looking forward to getting mine soon...not to mention getting about 5 more sometime down the road...:-D

Gotta love it, Clarence-yours is the new XH right? I bet that's gonna be sweet-what's the setup, material/finish wise? I'm curious to see yours when it comes in...when do you think yours will be in?
