![]() | Re: Amazing...new horns? Bob, as I said...I only put up a few that I grabbed from his site. When you go there, (then hit HORNS...then STAGE 1)... you will see them "all". From one to the next... just amazing. This is no sales pitch... just astonishment at such a tremendous burst of ideas eminating from Felix's head. Then to see those ideas materialized in the form of the pics on the site... man. Okay...sorry...enough from me. Go check them out for yourselves. Just wanted to let you all know about it. http://www.newyorktrumpetcompany.com

It is not on the site, simply because it looks the same as the NY standard. It does have a different bell and bracing, and we are using a lighter valve section. It is available in US,made to order, just like our other models. It is a differnt horn than the Cali Light.Larger bell,Larger bore, different valve section.Completely different animal.:) The NY is made in Austria, and Cali Light is made here. | |

I do have ideas eminating from my head, and a lot of times they are not the right ideas,I have to say.:) All of this would not be possible if it wasn't for great masters I work with. Garry Stoner,Anton Possegger,Leigh,Romeo Adaci,Harrelson, and resently guys from Kanstul and M&K slides. I just tell them what I need, and they do it.As simple as that.:) Felix Last edited by NYTC; 01-25-2007 at 04:07 PM. |

![]() | Re: Amazing...new horns? We all can see that Felix is on his way to being one of "those guys" in the trumpet world. I have been talking to him at length about my custom Stage 1 that is in production. I must say he is one of the nicest and best in the business. What other business man calls just to see how things are going? While I am not an artist, I teach for a living, I will be proud to represent these instruments when I play gigs. His horns play great and combined with his customer service and freindship I cant think of anyhwere else to go for a new horn. |
