talcito has a spectacular aura about
I played this horn about two years ago at NY Brass Conferance. I found the horns with the shepards crook to be the easiest playing horns I have ever played! Came very close to purchasing one.

The 3 reasons you problably do not see these horns:First, the price tag.Secondly, the horn design is radical compared to your usual trumpet and this may cause lack of acceptance by other section players. Third, without testing these horns in a section I would be concerned with proper blending with other players.

With all that being said this is the only custom type trumpet which I feel
makes trumpet playing significantly easier to play than lets say your standard professional production line horn.

Give them a try!

Wow, in good company. Most custom horns are a bit radical, pricey, and hard to test in a section.

Wild Thing -- very different, pricey, $200 restock fee.
Destino - not all that radical in appearance, very pricey, I have no idea about the testing policy
Edwards - different, pricey, but has a two week trial period
Monette - ah never mind

You get the idea. I have no idea what Marcinkiewicz's trial policy might be, but through a dealer it might be pretty good (WWBW traditionally gave a 45 day trial policy).

Being a musician makes you a artist. Sometimes that means reaching a bit.
