Re: Benge lives!

Yes, made by Kanstul.
Michael now is allowed to use X in the name (before he used *) because Benge donīt produce these models anymore.

Unfortunately their website is not ready for prime time. Personally I feel that a website should not go up until it has been tested and is functional. I was unable, for instance, to view any horns and I tried several different browsers. When I brought up the "Contact Us" page and wrote them a message, it dead-ended when I clicked on the send button.

On safari (Mac) I can see the horns and some other stuff but the 3 star plus just shows the 3 star pic and specs. But at least the site is going back up.

Good news for the Benge Fans.

Re: Benge lives!

I met Michael Thomas at Schagerl and he was enthusiastically talking about his new X line. So I also hope, that with the new webpage finished, Michael will be reachable again.

In Europe if you talk with Markus Neser from Thomann or Karl Schagerl in Austria, they might be willing and able to put some Burbanks again on stock.

Re: Benge lives!

Interesting stuff! I remember a trumpet maker in the 80's using this brand name.
