Last time I visited him, he also had a Bach-copy (which didn't play as well as his own designs...)

My Bb is a 72* LB with a regular weight body. This is the most versitile horn I have owned. I recently had Jerry Callet do the third valve conversion thing to my horn and I like it.
This instrument has been everywhere.

I will probably check Hub's Bflat horns out this holiday. I'm going there anyway to pick out a new C (yes, again!).

I bought the horn from James Tinsley in 1977.
The Callet conversion is an alteration that makes the Bach third slide set-up into the old Besson configuration.
Nothing major occured, I personally like the feel of the ring at the bottom of the slide.
I owned a few pre-war Bessons, this horn plays like one.

I had my B flat trpt (Tony Scodwell) with the 3rd valve slide done upside down too, and notice no difference in the playing, it just feels better to me in the way I like to hold my horn.
