| Toots Leigh is probably proud of his 'appointment by US Army' but I bet he is still holding out for that Royal Warrant. Congrats for the sales Leigh but I feel the US military should purchase US horns. Your horns are the best though. I just think taxpayer money should stay at home. |

| These are horns we are talking about. I think there is no reason to go into politics here. Quote:

| freshbrewed - I'm not suggesting anything but I do know of two guys that when they mustered out "lost" their their issued horns and only had to pay a very small replacement fee since the horns were now used. one walked away with a Bach and another got a Schilke. It seems that after they paid their fee the horns showed up at home later. neither one ever met the other person so I imagine this goes on quite a bit. Dave |

| Mezzo Piano User | Dave, I haven't seen anything like that go on since I have been in the Army. Since I already own two Eclipses I think that it's only fair to leave my Army issued Eclipse for someone else to enjoy when I depart the Army. As far as us buying US made equipment, I don't care where the horns are made as long as they are the best. |

| Fortissimo User | Dave... just saw your question. The weather here has been "up and down". We went from lows in the -20 range one week to highs in the plus 40's the next! I've seen a 100 degree change within 24 hours up here... lemme tell ya it's great for the circulation! Makes tuning a wee bit iffy though...even with an Eclipse. |

| Mezzo Piano User | Gary, You are correct. I was a little excited to get the horns and counted mine as well. So I can only play six Bb's and 1 flugel. Decisions, decisions............ |
