YELLOW!! Trent, I thought you were after that Roy Hargrove "Wood" sound (fluffy, dark, etc.). What changed your mind?

Of course, I love the Yellow.

Trent, that's exactly how I felt when I played that thing, which is why I like it so much. I picked it up and played a lick from 'Concerto for Orchestra', and was stunned by what came out of the bell. 'Wow' was all I could say.

Hi Dave!

You're absolutely right on in your descriptions of the RED vs yellow bell flugels. I honestly have to say that red would be in my case if I didn't have to play in big bands and quintet.... more importantly quintet. I need a flugel that does have some center to the attack.

When I eventually decide not to play any quintet gigs anymore I'll buy the Red brass bell flugel.

Ciao,

Trent

Yellow Flugel

Trent - was very nice to meet and hang with ya.

My goal at ITG was to select a Flugel. Thinking it is time for a new one. After playing the Eclipse models, nothing stood a chance.

The yellow has an awesome tone! Was soooo smooth. The red was great also, but I preferred the yellow.

It was cool to hear how much others liked them, too.
