![]() | http://www.schilkemusic.com Hi! Although they are not listed at http://www.schilkemusic.com, the B8 and B9 models seem to be available, at least here in germany..... as you can see at http://www.fmb-direkt.de , they advertise these models (for a very reasonable price, I think Just go to the hp and do a search for "schilke" with the "Produkt Schnell-Finder" on the left side. B8: Bore M Bell S B9: Bore MS Bell ML Not too common configurations I wouldn't be surprised if they would have been discontinoued..... but then again....Schilkes are "custom made" horns.... Hope I could help Dennis

![]() ![]() | Hi Manny, Boy miss a day and really get behind. Take this link, www.schilkemusic.com/ click on "products" and all the Schilke trumpets are now listed, including bore sizes and bell options. Also C, Eb/D, G/F, Piccolo and cornets are listed, including bore sizes and Schilke comments on the horns. Example; Model B3 Bb Trumpet Bore: L -.463" (11.75 mm) Bell: M – 5" (127.00 mm) Yellow Brass Bell with #3 taper This versatile large bore model plays with added brilliance, immediate response, balance in color and feel throughout the range from top to bottom. The B3 is ideal for the player looking for a “big horn feel” yet with more resistance than our X3 model. I have played both the B and S series Schilkes. I am not too surte they are built on the same chassis. To me, the S series is really heavy and stiff. It still has a clear easy tone, but it just feels "stiff" compared to the B series. -cw-
