I got my Lawler Flugel back today. I had a #1 valve that would get a little sluggish after some play time. I donno what Roy did with it but the thing is smooth as silk and the whole horn feels easier to play and is better sounding than my memory of when I sent it off, ~a week ago. Talk about fast turn-around! Roy Lawler is among the very best at building horns AND customer service. He stands behind everything that leaves his shop.

I love my Yamaha 6310Z "Bobby Shew" flugel. I used to play a Benge, but must say I love the various colors and the easy blow of the "Shew" horn
