Galileo C Trumpets

I am interested in buying a Galileo Jooleo C trumpet and I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that has tried one of these horns. I live in Alaska so getting out and trying horns is a hassle and I don't see myself going to Germany anytime soon. I was wondering how the colour of the sound is (dark, bright) how well it blends with other horns, and how the intonation is (if I would have to use alternate fingerings).

Re: Galileo C Trumpets

Hi, I have a jooleo Bb. Purchsed it from Felix at NYTC. The build quality, finish, are second to none. The horn plays like a dream. The closest I get to the Jooleo is my Monette. The tonel quality is that good. Ask Felix if he has a sample of the horn to try, it will be worth your effort. Happy hunting; Jack Boyko

Re: Galileo C Trumpets

Yeah, I've been talking to felix about the horns for quite some time, but he doesn't have any in stock and the prices have skyrocketed ever since the dollar has gone down hill. I'm just wondering if the sound is super dark or bright. I currently have a Monette C937 and it's just too dark(its also up in marketplace hint hint).
