I cant wait until he gets settled over at Decataur. Heh, I may have to go on another trumpet journey. I've always wanted to try out his stuff.

Why doesnt a ZeuS dealer set up shop down here, so I can play around with some of them!?

I am still kind of shocked two builders of this quality would flock to that little grass roots part of the world. It really neat.

How much does that Strad cost? The Lawler Model T is not very much more than a Bach, and it'll hold it's value much better.

Good point, It'll probably be close to two grand, I'd imagine or just $1,499 like the other strads, but brookmays would probably have to call Steinway and send them the instrument special order.. I don't know how that works, has anyone bought that type of horn? Your instrument is quite impressive..

King of Swing, here's a link to the model T

http://www.trumpetsetc.com/id23.htm

One that has the same finish as mine is $1600.

5 day trial and one year full price trade-in.

The one thing, and the ONLY thing that bothers me about the Lawlers, are those accursed amados! I swear, it looks like a TUMOR on a horn!

If desired, TL's can be made without Amados. You can have many options on a TL, but the T is pretty much a "this is what it is" (and it's more than likely outstanding). Here is Roy's site:
www.lawlertrumpets.com

I can't say enough how much I love my TL. If I had the cash, I would buy a C from him immediately. The price difference only reflects is the amount of time Roy spends with the client before making the horn.

I play a '49 large-bore Committee and a '58 Connstellation. I *still* want a Lawler TL-6... played one once and it seemed to have the best characteristics of both...
