Re: Maryland Trumpet Day 2007

Hi,
Indeed, Pat Shaner, who has been playing Wedges based on Monette B4S and B4L mouthpieces for some time now, will be at the Maryland Trumpet Day with a complete line of Wedges in the 3 size, and a few other samples of other sizes as well. I am not sure where he will be located yet, but I will try to fill people is as that I get that information.

Cheers,
Dr Dave

Re: Maryland Trumpet Day 2007

As time gets closer I am still working on the Maryland Trumpet Day for this year. A nice addition to our already full day is a Master class and display by Terry Warburton on mouthpiece design. After talking with Terry on the phone I am sure this will be a fun time.

As always, check out Tony Domenico, Jr. - Trumpet/Conductor/Educator for more information.

See you there

Re: Maryland Trumpet Day 2007

Less than two weeks and Maryland Trumpet Day 2007 will be here. Some updates to the website have occured, some additional vendors and clinicians, check it out.

I would like to geta feel for who will be in attendance, since we have not done a registration, so please respond to this post with a simple "shaw nuff" or " man, wish I could make it"

Thanks and see you soon.

Yes, I will be there with the demo pieces that Dr Dave mentioned. They will be available for your inspection and testing an Chris Cromer's "A" Minor Tune Up table. So, please stop by to check them out.

Re: Maryland Trumpet Day 2007

It was great! Tony outdid himself this year. I went for the whole day and stayed for the evening concert - which was excellent -- too bad Alan Baylock was sick and couldn't come lead his band -- but they did a great job anyway - he's an exceptional arranger.

I tried out the Wedges (thanks Pat), and discovered that they work better for me sideways. Always knew I was a bit weird -- but a whole 90 degrees?? :)

I didn't win the trumpet raffle -- 3 tickets away....

Re: Maryland Trumpet Day 2007

Good time was had by all, it was good to see everyone. There was some fun stuff equipment-wise, the Wedge mouthpieces were interesting, but didn't work for me. Felix Vayser came with a bunch of really great horns, the Magnum is slammin'. Clinics and the evening concert were great, everyone should have been there!
