![]() | Re: Monette 149XL I think the honest thing to do would be to express your interest in the horn and tell your boss it's true value. Perhaps share the profit from your efforts.....if you try to "sneak" (steal?) it from him what would he think of you if he found out about your scheme? The reality is that posting your dishonest scheme here does not cause anyone to think highly of you....in actual fact if you did manage to get the horn and sell it.... the person buying would end up with a "hot horn" in more ways than one. I am curious about the not musical bit? Walter |

This is what's wrong with America. It took someone from Germany to see that it's wrong to steal from your boss. Shouldn't we go through life trying to do the right thing? | |

![]() | Re: Monette 149XL Jeffrey, I think it's clear... you need to either do the right thing (to come clean on this with your boss) or stop posting here. No one is perfect, but it seems to me we all agree you are not doing the right thing. I'm going to make an assumption you and this story are for real. There is such a thing as Karma. If you follow through with this "plan" it will come back to haunt you. It may not have anything to do with trumpets, but someday, someone is going to wrong you... and you will crawl into a hole somewhere and cry that "it wasn't fair" or that "I didn't deserve this". Do good and goodness will follow you... and the same works on the opposite end. How about you give us the serial number? This is a small industry...we can track it down (owners) and make sure you do the right thing. |
