WhatIsHip? will become famous soon enough
Re: Monette 149XL

Does Monette keep a register of who buys their horns?? Might be worth a try. Do the right thing, stop posting here if your intent is to essentially steal from your employer.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of you guys calling this poster out might do the same exact thing if you came across a Monette

Some, maybe. By and large, however, the ethical standards of the posters here at TM is remarkably high. Besides, most of us would clear it with the boss, hold on to it, and play the puppy!

Finding a trumpet at a tag sale and getting a good deal and stealing your bosses good deal are two different things

Easy tatakata... please think about your statement. I think everyone here has made their ethical standards very clear (unless they are joking about $ offers).

I suspect Jeffrey is young (no offense) and is testing the waters on his moral judgement.

My last post on this. Siegtrmpt and The Buzz were right. Good luck Jeffrey.

If he does, I'm going to want to sell it. Any help/suggestions? It seems to be in perfect condition, and i'm going to take pictures of it tonight i can link to. The only bad thing is that there was a Yamaha mouthpiece instead of the Monette one. How much would you think it would be worth. I called Monette and they said it was manufactured in 1989. Any help would be appreciated.

The instrument is the property of the company. You are obliged to inform them of what you do with it.

If he let's you have it, contact me. I may buy it.
