I think it would help Felix and I for anyone who is planning on coming to post a note on the site. Maybe if people are driving a carpool option would be there.

Boston Area Trumpetfest, Melrose, MA

Schedule of events:

1PM-2PM: Arrival and horn testing... various rooms and acoustical environments to try the full line of NYTC instruments.

2PM-230: "How and why I chose my instruments...": Trent Austin, Eclipse performing artist.

2:30-3PM: Testing continues

3PM-3:15PM break (setup for duo concert in sanctuary)

3:15-4PM: Trent Austin duo concert (free and open to the public)

4-5PM: Testing continues

5PM conclusion of events and "fest" continues at local restaurant if wanted.

If you're interested in attending please PM me asap. All events are free and open to the public.

Hi All,
I just got off the phone with Dan Lutz who is a professor @ Lowel University just outside of Boston. He is the Dept head for Instrumental Ensemble and he's sending out some fellas to Melrose on Sunday! Dan is a fabulous arranger and was a student of Dr. Reinhart...

Also, Garret Savluk from the Boston Horns (www.bostonhorns.com) should be making a visit as well. Garret was the founder of the Heavy Metal Horns about 10-12 years ago.
