Re: NYTC and piccolo

Nice, Adrian..is your Signature model different than the NY signature? That poor Classic...ouch! I can't even imagine your face. Haha..trying to get Felix's attention...that's a good way to see his dark side... I hope mine comes in during March, around Spring Break, but I'm thinking it will be April. What's your signature going to be like? I've gone all out on my Cali :)

Re: NYTC and piccolo

Hi Russ,

Yeah, my heart sank when i opened the case after the crash

I believe my signature will be different than the NY signature model. It will have a heavy Red-brass bell, standard shape tuning slide, palladium plating, non-recessed valves with fairly heavy springs ... to be honest, i just tell Felix what i want it to do and feel like, then leave it up to him - he knows how i play and what kind of music i play. I totally trust him to match the horn to my needs.

- Adrian

In typical Felix fashion, he was most helpful with accomodating what i wanted. I know you've all heard it before, but that guy really is amazing to deal with!

It will be a 4 valve Bb/A, long-bell style (like a schilke), take a cornet shank, the 'natural' side will be Bb, and designed as a 'doubling' instrument for me to switch easily between it and large trumpet.

I can't wait!!!

Cheers,

Felix or NYTC (Whatever),

Can you give me any info on these Stage 1 pics? prices, options available finish, triggers, different bells and so on), payment plans, shipping to Bulgaria?
