I did not know about TM 3 years ago...But someone seems to have resurrected the thread...which in this case may be a good thing. However, I found it a bit surprising that I serious trumpet maker like you would not have seen or heard about some of the horns mentioned in this thread...Well, Spada is relatively new one. I think (but I am not sure) that he started to make those horns just recently, probably not more than 3 years ago. I never tested the horn as I don't think of purchasing one in the near future...But I tested the B flat/A piccolo and IMHO just few brands on the market can offer such a quality on piston valves piccolos (I never tested the NYTC and and the Eclipse piccs, but would be very interested to do so if I get the opportunity). So given the quality of the B flat/A spada it would be quite logic to expect a very high quality....if anyone get to test it, please leave a comment.
