Don't give it a second thought. All of my prototypes are raw brass - its no big deal for me to clean the brass or the horn. Just a good cleaning of the leadpipe and tuning slides with a snake and mild detergent is all I would ask.

This is, afterall, not an expensive item, just treat it as you would your own horn, that's all I would ask.

Agreed.

How many do you currently have on the list of testers?

Here's the people that have asked to be on the list so far:

Old Geezer (Dave)
tpter1 (Glenn)
Pedal C
pwillini
schilke b6 (Chuck)
wrbandel (Warren)
Tootsall ?
dcstep
Heavens2kadonka (Van)
rjzeller (Richard)
RoccoNut16v
jmichiel (Jimi)

This is a random order and I don't have a 'max' number in mind. If I get a long list I will split it up so that I can clean the horn in the middle and send it again.

Greg,

Looking forward to trying the horn in all my various groups. Especially like to try it with Incognito some time.

When does the tour start?

Warren,

I'll wait a few more days to see if anyone else has any input on the slide rings, etc. and then set up a time to have the prototype assembled so probably a couple weeks out.

I'm completely willing to try anything. I don't know what kind of players you're looking for though, seeing as how I'm just a lowly ole humble high school player (graduating this year though, god willing ). I'd consider myself talented, but if you'd rather not send brass my way I'd completely understand!

Do keep in mind, that a quality horn for $750 would have an ENORMOUS market in the high school player scene. I know a lot of people at my school playing on sub par yamaha horns for which they paid well over $1k. If the horn plays as well as you claim, sales at the local school shouldn't in any way be a problem.
