Personally, I gave up. If I could have all the hours back I wasted on past entries I could probably buy several Eclipses' (or at least have made it through Arbans twice! ).

Yes, but who would pay you the money in overtime There is a VERY realistic chance of winning, and if you win you could have a better trumpet to play through the Arban But most of all it is FUN . However, I am not trying to encourage you to enter Greg. There are enough entries to compete against as it is!!!

No, I've come to realize my idea of who should win has never matched with the judges, at all.

This year I think damo should win, but I'll probably be wrong again - I have no clue how the judges decide. Maybe they get together and pick a number out of a hat?

Actually, I think everyone has an equal chance, provided they complete the entry. I don't know how they choose either...but I enter for 2 reasons:

1. A great horn is always at stake.
2. It's fun.

I had a great time adding both you and John (kinghornplayer) to my story. You might enjoy reading "Chapter Seven" in my entry.
