![]() | Re: Renting a picc? Over $1000 for any good one, new. over $2000 for a top quality one. I think used Getzens run about $500-$700, their good horns for most levels of playing (so I've heard). Schilke, Kanstul, Stomvi, and other higher end horns run from $2100-$3700 new and like-new and about $1000-$2300 used depending on brand and age.

| Piano User | Re: Renting a picc? Reason why? Because I'm mainly a jazz/lead/commercial player. I do play other stuff occasionally..but..I'm getting the horn of my dreams, due to having my engagement broken. I figure, I'm going to use the money from the ring on ME...then I'll worry about rounding out the arsenal. That's what student loans are for...:) Just kidding. This is actually the first time I've had call for it so far...and since I get to borrow one, well, there ya go.

| Piano User | Re: Renting a picc? Ah yes...I thought I mentioned it in the Eclipse thread...maybe not. But yes. And since my buddy Josh (principaltrumpet) is not going to be using his after all, I will have one to play on. Cool stuff.
