Do they sell directly from the company?
I know they do with mouthpieces,but trumpets?

I thought they did sell directly... but at least Phil Baughman could recommend you to a dealer if nothing else.

I think that the only things that Schilke sells directly to the consumer are customized mouthpieces or one-off trumpets that are special order and outside of the normal product line. I could be mistaken, but I believe that if it is a standard product out of their catalog, they will put you through to a dealer.

I just spoke with Schilke.

No direct sales.

They will send one horn to every dealer.
You will have to contact a dealer that has one.
A down side, the dealer does not have to sell it, or may sell to who he wants, or may charge what he wants-supply and demand.
I guess you'll really have to know your dealer.

Or at least I personally know a salesman that works for a Schilke dealer.

Man, what I would do to get my hands on one of those for investment purposes! Just keep it pristeen in the case for a decade or so, and sell it off in mint condish. A "mint" is what you would make!

I'd like to get one of these myself.
Don't know any dealers personally.
I do know of Dillon's music store not that far from me(great store,BTW),but the problem is,they might know who I am,therefore,my price could just be a little high.
