Thanks for sharing mttyg. I've still got my Concept TT. I was just talking to a friend earlier today about going from a K-Mod 24B to the TT. Selmer's been making great trumpets for a long time. They're a proud family-owned company.

Congrats on you new TT.

Re: Selmer Paris Concept TT - another view

FWIW I bought a practically new matte 80J again (of course I've already owned one... it was one of the "horns that got away") and absolutely love it. It's the perfect compliment to my Sonare' 900S which I use most of the time.

ah, toys... uh... tools.

Back to vacation ;)-t

Any ideas where I could get a TT online to try out for a few days?
Rayburn's outlet in West Hartford, if you call ahead of time and tell them what you want to try they should be able to hook you up or tell you not to waste your time. I'm planning on going to Dillon's in New Jersey in a few weeks to try horns. That's the best place close to CT. It's too bad about Burritt in New Britain going downhill (I heard they might be closed?) and Goldie's closing their New Haven store. There really aren't great places around in Connecticut anymore.
