![]() | Youre joking, right Manny? Dizzy's horn only fetched $35,000 and this Blackburn horn is $140,000?

![]() | I just got off the phone with Molarian Courley. Unfortunately, the Ajna II is not enough in trade. I was thinking that if enough people wanted to pool their instruments we could buy the horn and start kind of a TM trumpet museum. Where we'd house that horn would be up for discussion or maybe it could float from place to place for a while, kind of like a tour. What do you folks think? ML |

![]() | Again just off the phone with Dr. Courley. He's fine, Howard (apropos of your phone call). He was rather touched by the idea but firm on the price so there's not a lot of wiggle room. He did suggest a nice place to display the horn if we can come up with the consortium of instruments to sell. It's a museum in a lovely place in upstate New York. Niagra Falls. Step by step we could get this done if you folks recognize the inherent value of such a purchase. ML |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I'm in. I'll donate my trumpet vine and a box of Bachs. -cw- If Viagra Falls peters out, how about near you in Frostbite Falls, MN?

![]() | That's great, Chuck! Anybody else in? Toots, you're not that far from Niagra Falls... could you check the place out for us? I'll PM you the address. Do you have a horn, too that could help up the ante? Dr. Courley also wanted to wish everyone a Happy Hallowe'en (I told you the guy was a little "eccentric"). I told him I was considering dressing up as Wilmer tonight for a party and he said "Oh, Wiseguise, eh?" ML |

I-94 goes right near my home in St. Clair Shores, MI. Then the two us us could just hop on over to Windsor, (we'll take the tunnel instead of the Ambassador Bridge) and stop and watch the famous Rick, AKA Trumpetman perform. Then if you really don't want to continue to Honeymoon Town, we could come back across the river and maybe catch a Red Wings game. BTW, Molarian Courley is mentioned quite a bit in these parts and my band leader Jerome Howard knows him well. By the way the DSO is giving a concert next weekend in tribute of a violinist named Larry Fine which you might enjoy. They are performing "Hey, Porkupine!" Please reconsider. -cw-

![]() ![]() ![]() | If you go.... There is a great Chinese restaurant across the street from the museum. It is called "Soy Tan Lee". They have the best Peking Duck on the American side. -cw-
