![]() | Re: What was your first horn? A Holton. Can't remember what model. It needed a valve job really bad but back them I didn't know a vavle job existed so I thought the horn was trash. Got a new Bach TR300 a couple months after the Holton. |

![]() | Re: What was your first horn? a Bestler form ebay, now THAT was a piece of crap. A year after that I upgraded to a yamaha 1310 trumpet (I don't think they sell them in the US only in canada, idk, I have never seen one here)

![]() | Re: What was your first horn? First trumpet was a 'REX' that use to belong to my late father. I played that for a couple of years before I "upgraded" to an Amati!!! Still have that Rex and still can't find out much about it's history. It has been missing its main tuning slide braces for a while but as soon as I find another one I will be restoring it. It still plays good for a undersprung peashooter. It's one that will remain in my collection for the rest of my life. The Amati was not so fortunate.......when I bought my Bach 37 I poured petrol over it and set it on fire.....a total POS. |
