| Re: What is your main horn? I am currently on the comeback trail with my 1954 Holton Super Collegiate. It's the model with the copper bell tube and sterling bell flair.Versatile horn I must say.Had been overhauled sometime before I purchased it. I am hoping to get a matching Cornet (ca. 1960) from the same vendor. Paul |

| Re: What is your main horn? I play with a Schikle B1, I've added the Curry's action rods and the Curry's Magnum Hex CCAPS to add more slotting and to have a "darker" sound for my solo and legit playing. I remove the CCAPS for my lead gigs.............this horn simply smoke in high register!!!!! |

| Mezzo Piano User | Re: What is your main horn? Ever so original: Bach Stradivarius Model 37 Lightweight, serial no. between 1975 and 1980, probably closer to 1975 than 1980. With a good old 7C and a Schilke 12A4. Still can't choose which one I like better. I need to go on a "safari" methinks |
