Re: What is your main horn?

Hi all:
continuing to use in Jazz Ensemble RCC, Souther Oregon Jazz Orchestra, an old 1950 Reynolds Contempora Trumpet with first valve trigger and thrid valve slide with an old 1946 goldplated Frank Holton & Co Elkhorn Wis. 60 A. mouthpiece.. most horns now outplay this mellow horn , The Reynolds still hangs in through. It is really great hearing from you and the horns you play. warm regards, Lee

Josh:

I've had some horns stolen: Benge 4P Lacquer Piccolo, with both pipes, Antique rotary flugelhorn in raw brass, and Benge Model 90CL C trumpet, also in lacquer

If by any chance they come your way, please contact me...

Tia,

Re: What is your main horn?

Lawler Model T with no mods. Second horn is a Getzen Eterna Severinsen I use in places I wouldn't like to take the Lawler (parades, etc.)

Re: What is your main horn?

I have sold my Edwards trumpet with all the alternate bells and leadpipes. I have a di Nicola balanced trumpet. It has a beautiful even sound. Just what I like. I guess he did not make many horns. I have not seen anyone on this thread who mentions the horn.
