Re: What is your main horn?

Monette Ajna2, Heckel (1938) rotary, Wagner(1936) rotary, Spada/Bach L modified with a tuning 25 bell and Spada leadpipe, Münkwitz natural trumpet.
I use them all (except the Bach and Wagner hardly ever) about equally depending on the gig.
Prana 3 coming next month!

Re: What is your main horn?

I still practice and play on my off the shelf Strad 37, but for most of my gigs, I use my Yamaha Z horn.
Tried some goooood horns up at ITG, though.

Re: What is your main horn?

I play a Monette B937 for almost all of my B-flat playing, although I play C trumpet (Monette C997 or a Bach/Larson conversion) a lot more than I play B-flat.

Re: What is your main horn?

My main horn is my only horn. A Holton ST550S MF Admiral that I've had since Christmas of 5th or 6th grade.

Re: What is your main horn?

wow, I'm only the 2nd person in 4 pages to list a yamaha Bb as my my Bb horn.

Yamaha Xeno 8335GS w/ Charlie Melk MTV 525 leadpipe. It was a great horn with the stock leadpipe, and now its a spectacular horn. and it matches my C.

Re: What is your main horn?

Stage 1 California Custom:
Copper rimless 5'1/4" bell
Sterling Silver Leadpipe
3 slides, but the main one I have settled on is Sterling Silver rounded with Brace

Best horn I have ever played, a C horn will follow soon
