No, I don't know what comes next, would you care to fill me in?

Wow... I never noticed it, Ed, until you mentioned it... but I was looking at my pics for my new CD release and I couldn't believe my eyes:

Just look at Benny Green's face... absolute shock.

I have a doctor's appointment today to correct this issue!

There seems to be a very serious, highly contagious case of red rot on this board!

Need I remind any of you of the cure for this? Just send the Eclipse horns to me and I'll (eventually) fix all of your problems for you!

You got it too Trent!

I have a trumpet and flugel .....so maybe the cornet is the cure?

...or maybe the more Eclipse instruments you own the pinkness just increases....!

OK... now I'm starting to lose my patience. I pride myself on my ability to compromise, get along with others in spite of disparate views on many topics... to be a peacemaker whenever possible. HOWEVER!....

A few days back when I first noticed this affliction with red hair and Eclipse I must have had a foreboding of what was to come. You may recall that I feared that snow (that white junk that is the result of atmospheric moisture and low temperatures) might have the possibility of causing curling of my new, red tresses.

Well, it happened today! I was standing outside supervising a concrete pour (I'm building a scale to weigh railcars at work) and suddenly the lead-grey skies started to emit a form of moisture! YE GADS! It was WHITE moisture. I could feel my hard hat starting to get tighter and tighter on my head. When I finally got inside and looked in a mirror... YAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to hide my head.

Not that I'm in any way ASHAMED of this "do"... kind of looks like Clarence's, come to think of it. Well, except for the fact that the color is different (take that how you will!), I'm not a "brutha"... (although I DO have a brother) ... and I suspect that his grandfather and my grandfather didn't necessarily bowl at the same lanes. It's just that I'm .... well, kinda tired of having to remember who I'm looking at in the mirror each morning.

Leigh... you better start thinking of some explanations... heck, I'll even accept an EXCUSE at this point.

(To all other Eclipse owners.... you want to watch out for this. I expect it's Leigh's revenge for losing his own hair! Maybe we could offer to cut some off, have a wig made, and send it to him? Either that or stir up some chicken entrails and cast a pox upon him.)
