Could you provide more details of the horn's construction and appearance, maybe approx. age, etc. Better yet , post some good photos so we can take a look.

Re: Can anyone ID my Horn?

Good-looking one!

I believe it looks rather european... I have seen two or three Belgium made trumpets on ebay the last two years and they have had the same kind of basic design (wrap). But I do not know a single thing about belgian trumpet makers more than that there were a few. Anyway the hex valve caps are very similar to the ones used by Keilwerth. Remember, the distances Belgium - Netherlands - Germany are almost nothing.

Re: Can anyone ID my Horn?

Yes, I was taken by the similarities with the Pan American, but it seemed a little 'off', perhaps it was an attempt to copy Conn's design...or was it the other way around?

I have also noted similarities with the overall appearance of an earlier Getzen - a super deluxe, I believe - except without the copper ferules (but the ferules are very similar style).

This horn is quite solid, blows very easily, and has a nice warm tone. Going back to my '48 Olds felt as though there was a sock stuffed in the bell. Ok, it wasn't that bad, but you get the idea.

Which ever the case, it is a nice looking horn and plays well. And for that I am happy.
