Good call on the pool table. We got the kids this mini pool table a couple of Christmases ago and they have lost interest. Makes a good background for horns but it is a bit more than I would have spent on a piece of felt!

Re: Chicago Benge

Hey,

I just got my Chicago Benge C trumpet back from Dr. Valve. He did a valve job and alignment. Man, it plays great!

Re: Chicago Benge

I use an LA CG Benge and a newly acquired Chicago model ml bore.I find the Chicago model to be more responsive. It is a finely made trumpet and a joy to use. You can get good info. on this model which was made in either ml or l bore from Jim Donaldson's site and Joe Lill's site. If you get the chance to buy one ,you should. I think they are a good investment and a blast to play. meauxhorn

Re: Chicago Benge

In addition to the ML and L bore Chicagos, there were also some M bore trumpets (not many, as far as I can tell). All Chicago cornets, along with the C, D and Eb trumpets were ML bore (so far; I always need to add that, as I wouldn't presume that the 190+ Chicagos for which I have info tell the complete story).
