johnkool will become famous soon enough
Martin Handcraft part wanted

On the bottom tuning slide receiver there is a part missing.

I suspect it is an inside slide sleeve of some sort with male threads on the end to lock the tuning slide in place.

don't know if I have described it adequately.

The bottom tuning slide receiver has threads on the inside. I don't have the part that screws into it.

The Bb/A tuning slide works ok, as an inch and 1/2 or two on the end of the slide is expanded like the end of the inner tube of a trombone slide.
When I remove the Bb/A extension and try to use just the C slide, the tuning slide is just to small to fit the receiver without this missing sleeve and screw ring.

Hope that makes sense.

Even if someone can help me use the right terminology when I start going to shops, that woul be helpful.
