I agree, especially citing the whole thread. As Sylvester would say "despicable". At least he said we knew our stuff. Oh well, we learned something about the horn and genre which as Martha would say , "is a good thing."

You guys are upset because you gave out info and it was used ? the quoting is bad yes and credit should be given but you published you info on the web what did you expect. This is done in the collector circles all the time time for the naive to open there eyes and stop crying.

The point is that you cannot cite an endorsement without permission, PERIOD. If he paraphrased us that is one thing, but no, he put a link and stated that we "know our stuff". Thus, we are endorsing his instrument whether we want to or not. It does affect our willingness (or at least mine) to help anyone in the future who comes here looking for information. This sort of activity can undermine the very foundation of this and other public forums.

Good point Scooter! Many queries for info are innocent enough, some are not.
